BCM212 – Where curisosity and learning intersect

BCM212 is encouraging us to explore the ways in which qualities such as curiosity can help us become better researchers in our chosen fields.

Key question: Why is curiosity important to learners?

Finding out that the terms curiosity and curator come from the same source (cura: care, cure, attention, writing) makes complete sense to me. Curiosity is what has driven me to continue my studies, curiosity pushes me to further my studies.

For me, curiosity and learning come hand-in-hand. Pursuing communications was result of my need to further understand the ways in which we can relay knowledge. Writing is a passion of mine and I wanted to find ways in which I could use that skill to disclose and covey information to those that may not have access to it.
